흑표범(b.1980)은 한국사회 안에서 소수자로 존재하는 여러 정체성들을 가시화하는 프로젝트를 이어오고 있다. 작가는 자신의 몸을 전면에 드러내는 퍼포먼스 작업을 통해 일상의 정치와 정체성의 욕구들을 (비)언어적인 수행으로 발화하여 연대의 가능성을 적극적으로 모색한다. 주요 개인전으로 《불청객 Uninvited》(문화공간 비수기, 2022), 《빽스테이지》(플레이스막2, 2021) 등이 있으며, 주요 그룹전으로는 《비커밍의 기술》(토탈미술관, 2022), 《금하는 것을 금하라》(수원시립미술관, 2018) 등이 있다.
Black Jaguar(b.1980) has been working on a project to make visible the various identities that exist as minorities in Korean society. Through performance works that put her body on full display, she explores the possibility of solidarity by igniting everyday politics and identity needs through (non-)verbal performance.
Her major solo exhibitions include 𝑈𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑣𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑑(Space bisugi, 2022) and 𝐵𝐵𝑎𝑐𝑘𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑔𝑒(PLACEMAK2, 2021), and major group exhibitions include 𝑇𝑒𝑐ℎ𝑛𝑖𝑞𝑢𝑒𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝐵𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔(Totalmuseum, 2022) and 𝑁𝑜𝑡 𝑇𝑜 𝐴𝑙𝑙𝑜𝑤𝑒𝑑 𝑇𝑜 𝐵𝑎𝑛(Suwon Museum Of Art, 2018).
